It's one of his earliest memories: He's five years old, standing up in front of a mirror in his sister's bedroom, badminton racket in his hands, pretending to be playing the guitar. Though this was only make believe, for David it was a foreshadowing of what his life would be -- following his dreams to become what he is today.

"It was an amazing feeling," he says now decades later. "To be immersed in music. It felt both very magical and powerful. And I was fearless." That fearlessness has led him far, as he has developed into a gifted singer-songwriter with a passion and love for God. With an early gift for both melody and harmony, an angelic singing voice, and a natural gift for romantic expression, David T.Wright is creating songs that resound with authentic magic and heartfelt lyrics.

"It is my hope to see lost and wounded people have peace & harmony, to bring rest and hope to people's lives, and by using my gifts of music, songwriting and speaking to restore relationships and introduce others to the love of God."

To say David has lived a colorful life would be an understatement. There have been many times from his past that to see and know him now you would find it difficult to believe this was the same person...

David began his musical journey at St. Pius X School singing in, and leading the choir at the age of 11. This journey would take him through many secular bands, and became the cornerstone of many wrongdoings and errors in judgement.

In 2002 David survived a close call with death, and it was shortly
after this time when he finally decided to listen to a voice that had been trying to reach him for years. The voice of his heavenly Father.

Fortunate to have such a strong foundation at home with his wife Theresa, daughter Alyssa, and his son David he finally became the Spiritual Leader & Father Figure that his family had longed for. David's Father & Mentor who left this earth in 2007 did, and continues to play a huge part in David's life.

David's love for God & Life, how his life has changed because of this relationship, and the things he sees in the world today are very evident in the words of his music.

Having experienced some very dark times in his own life he now has a burning desire to reach out to those living through those lonesome times in their own lives. He hopes to be a ray of light and hope for them.

"Only because of the Mercy of God am I where I am, and doing what I do today, and because of all He has done, and continues to do in my life I feel I must do everything I can do to try and bring His light to others".
